The Festival of koumiss devoted to celebration of the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh khanate takes place in the “Atameken” ethno-memorial complex, BNews.kz transfers. The curative characteristics of Nomads’ favourite drink are known from ancient times and traditional recipes are descended from generation to generation.

“The artists will demonstrate the dramatize performance about koumiss anthemig for residents and guests of the capital. The best musicians, singers and dancers will please the audience. Moreover the citizens will have an opportunity to learn about folk music, came from ancient centuries from steppe, indigenous works of national composers and folk music”, – organizers report.

Furthermore, a competition is planned to be held there. The main task is “Who drinks koumiss more than others?”

The audience will be interested with the exhibition of genuine carpets with the Kazakh ornaments made from camelhair and the defile in national clothes.
